We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to explore and express joyful creativity through individual and group art instruction.

Private parties may be booked at your location or held remotely through live online instruction.

Painting classes are provided at two locations in Albuquerque, NM

I was born into a creative family. My first drawings (my face, an oscillating fan, a pickle ) were simple circles and lines. Crayons and new pencils were some of my favorite things. At an early age I discovered that creativity gave me a sense of fulfillment which fueled my desire to try every form of creative art I could!

When the pandemic hit, and while in quarantine, my creativity exploded as I began to see the bits-and-bobs lying around the house as possible art projects. My husband (and best friend for over 30 years) lovingly indulged my creative expression and furnished the tools and hard labor for those projects. Then I got a really crazy idea…to start my own business! In the spring of 2021, I started Create U 505, when I realized people needed to get together and be creative, and since so many other businesses were moving to a delivery model, why not art parties!

What excites me most about my business is that I get to meet people where they are! I get to lead art parties and see the looks on peoples faces when they are trying something new for the first time; when they are able to realize their own vision; and find inspiration and joy in creating something new. How cool is that!
